Hello all I am looking for some help please. I was in the process of uploading Ovi Maps when it advised I should upgrade my firmware. After doing so, and after leaving my phone for 20 minutes or so, it has asked for the Lock Code. I have tried the default of 12345 and the code I changed it to, but to no avail. I am based in the UK, should that information have any relevance. I have called Nokia support who have advised I should take my phone into a store, some 30 miles away.

Dude may be your default lock code 12345 might be changed, Jus try with settings--Phone-Phone management--Security options, if u can change means you are lucky, else jus take it to nokia your work ll be done in 10min. -Sam -------------------- Hit Kudos to show your appreciation. Hard Reset (.thats what you have done.) will not reset the Security Code on Nokia 5800. You will have to get it reset at Nokia Care.

But you tend to lose all your data if back-up hasn't been kept.
