Hi Are you using the options 'Sketch relationship colors', I know it may sound stupid to ask this and probably you already know that or Solid edge support may have already ask this, but if this options is checked, it slows down dramatically solid edge in sketch environment because with a lot of lines solid edge keeps checking if everything is fully constrained so he keeps computing a lot for nothing.
