Browsers For Vista 64 Bit

Hello everyone! Here's my system setup:Windows Vista Home Premium 32bitMaya 2008Core 2 duo 2.4ghzGeforce 8800 GTS 320mb4gb ram500gb hard driveThe problem occurs when i try to save and/or open a scene. For example, i open up a scene then try to save it as a.ma file but maya stops responding and windows spits out: 'maya application file has stopped working' i have tried disabling Aero, running in compatibility mode, disabling all GPU forced effects and have all the latest drivers for everything. Can anyone help?! I can save to a maya binary but the program still won't open another file when i have a scene already open. Is this a Vista or nVidia problem? Also, i borrowed a copy of Maya 8.0 which seems to work ok apart from the viewports go white whenever i use the hotbox or change ap.

It doesn't crash though which is the main thing. Greetingz ALL,I am currently in the process of having a friend of mine download Maya PLE for me so I'm very excited about that. ALSO I have been VERY LUCKY and BLESSED!! A 'frienD' of a FRIEND has heard of my plight and will be blessing me with a most generous gift.a small form factor PC with INtel Core 2 DUo!! I believe they said its a HP 7800!!! So with that in mind I have a basic question.

Wolfgang Ambros Rapidshare. WhAT VIDEO CARD would you ALL recommend? I mean I want the best of the best for the rig but mainly for OPTIMAL usage in conjunction with Autodesk Maya 2008.also my dream is to well yeah its a dream but here it is, play Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on a PS3 with the requisite 50' 1080p TV to go with it. But financially that is a LONG TIME COMING. So come to find out you can play the sames games from the PS3 on your PC, so in other words.I need a good/great video card for that aspect as wellso I was looking for feedback and recommendations for a Video Card to get the most OUTTA Autodesk Maya 2008 and to also play cool and great games on the pc as well? Brands, makes and models and prices if possible. Thank you all and please advise!! Also once i get the PC, what Operating system should I install?

I was thinking Vista but how to decide if I should go 32bit or 64bit? Hello everybody,I have a problem with Maya 2008 Extension 2 which I didn't have with the 'unextended' Version: Sometimes when I work in component mode and than open the Tool Settings by pressing the button at the right upper corner, my sytem freezes. It's impossible to quit maya or return to finder.

I un- and reinstalled the application, deleted the user prefs, but that didn't fix the problem.I work with a Power Mac G5 and Mac OS 10.11 Tiger and I don't want to update to Leopard. In case of need I will downgrade to Maya 2008 Disk Version until I have a IntelMac.Any Help would be appreciated. And sorry for my yoda English: ). My problem seems to be fixed. There were no freeze trouble further. I read (I don't know where) about a good way to find out whether is it a Mac problem or something with the Maya Prefs: Create a new user and start and play with Maya.

If the problem still appear, it's the computer, if not, it's the prefs or another part of Maya. In my case the problem didn't appear so I tryed to find ot the reason. It was the windowPrefs.mel ('my Usern'/Libary/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/2008/prefs/windowPrefs.mel). Since I deleted them maya works normal.

Well building might not be the correct word.more like I already have the PC and I'm wondering what OS to put on it?WINDOWS XP or WINDOWS VISTA?should I go 32bit or 64bit? And regardless what would be the pro's and con's of each option? This is the PC I have.will be putting in at least 2 more 2GB's or Ram in it at the least.the main purpose will be to run Autodesk Maya 2008 and Adobe Flash CS3.other then that just whatever else the OS I put on it allows.so again I already have the PC and will be putting in more ram I just need some insight and input on what OS to run on it?please do tell!!!oNep.s. Austin zago if y0ou can and don['t mind please pm your email as i have some questions for ya.as we discussed previously. Would like to check, anyone here actually use maya on notebooks equipped with integrated intel graphics?Recently tried installing maya on a Fujitsu T5010 Centrino 2, Vista Home Premium 64 bit, and Maya crashes upon startup, right after the splash screen disappears and the gui pops up.Tested with both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of maya 2008.Why i'm sure it's the intel graphics that's causing problems, is that upon removal of the graphics driver, maya is able to start properly in the default 800x600 resolution. I've tried installing newer drivers from Intel's site, but to no avail. Is there anyone who has a Centrino 2 notebook and can use maya successfully with the intel graphics?
