Tuxonice 2.6.27 Patch
Posted : adminOn 2/25/2018I started creating a new patch for 2.6.27 but then discovered that quite a bit has changed in LSM for this version. I do not have time to implement it. This patch creates new Documentation/power files for describing TuxOnIce, and a MAINTAINERS entry for the code. Signed-off-by: Nigel Cunningham.
Linux-Kernel Archive: [2. Internet Download Manager V 6.07 Build 3 there. 6.27-rc6, patch] fix SWIOTLB oops. [2.6.27-rc6, patch] fix SWIOTLB oops. From: Daniel J Blueman Date: Wed Sep 10 2008 - 16:08:15 EST • Next message: • Previous message: • Next in thread: • Messages sorted by: With SWIOTLB being enabled and straight-forward page allocation failure [1], the swiotlb_alloc_coherent fall-back path hits an issue [2], resulting in my webcam failing to work. At the time of oops, RDI is clearly a pointer to a structure which has arrived as NULL, leading to the typo in swiotlb_map_single's callsite arguments. Correctly passing the device structure [3] addresses the issue and gets my webcam working again (the allocation failure still occuring). Please apply, Daniel --- [1] skype: page allocation failure.
