But look up dirtfishing on youtube. Bill is testing a 13' ultimate coil using the deep silver program on a quarter. Deep silver takes a little getting used to. But it's the one I use to detect to China. You'll have to learn to set up the machine for your area with proper filters,RX gain, sensitivity, etc. I've set my machine up in my test garden to get great depth. Hit the field and the depth dropped off.

I have never ever found a quarter, a half or a dollar coin beyond 10 inches in my 3 years of working mine in my well established coin garden. Maybe they tweaked up on a giant coil size.
